The AI-Driven Educational Innovations Hackathon is a virtual event dedicated to transforming SDESkills’ extensive library of over 1,000 hours of educational YouTube content into innovative tools. Participants will leverage distributed cloud computing and artificial intelligence to develop secure solutions that enhance accessibility, engagement, and learning outcomes for software development engineers.

About SDESkills
SDESkills is a volunteer-led, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to bridging the gap between the skills job seekers possess and those needed to excel in software development engineering. Established in 2010, SDESkills offers resources and support to help individuals maintain and enhance their technical skills. The organization fosters a community-driven approach, emphasizing consistency, reliability, and inclusivity in all its programs.

Who can Participate?
- To be eligible to enter the Contest, you must be above the age of majority in your country, state, province, or jurisdiction of residence. The Contest is open to IT professionals working in the USA and Canada.
- You may submit your Project as a team or on behalf of an organization. Team size is limited to a maximum of four (4) individuals.

Evaluation Criteria:
- Innovative Idea (30%): Originality and potential impact of the concept.
- User Experience (30%): Intuitiveness and accessibility of the user interface.
- Technical Execution (20%): Quality of implementation and effective use of AI technologies.
- Submission Quality and Presentation (20%): Clarity and effectiveness in communicating the project’s value and impact.
What to Submit
- Include a video (about 3 minutes) that demonstrates your submission.
- Provide a URL to your private code repository for judging and testing.
- Include a detailed README.md

Judges
The hackathon will be judged by engineering leaders in distributed cloud computing, AI/ML and video technology. We are inviting judges to review the hackathon submissions.
